The Dissolve
A short ritual for a frustration that has nowhere else to go yet. Write it down, bury it in a landscape, then let it go.
Step 1 · The Vessel
Set the frustration down.
Write the word or phrase that best names what's pressing on you right now. Small, tight letters — dense, not big.
Step 2 · The Erosion
Build a landscape around it.
Five minutes. Surround the word with patterns, scribbles, shapes that creep inward — draw on the canvas above. You're not crossing it out, you're building around it. Breathe with your hand; let the pressure be whatever your mood wants it to be.
Step 3 · The Translation
Turn it into a map.
Five more minutes. The word is just texture now. Use the lines you already drew as mountains, rivers, streets — a place that doesn't exist. If the word still shows, fold it in as a landmark: a canyon, a ruin.
Step 4 · The Release
Decide what happens to this place.
The map is finished. Now choose what becomes of it.
